This battery is a stack of 10 × LR54 with a metal "pip" contact plate at each end and a casing to hold it all together.
This battery is listed in the AVO Model 8 manual as one of the 15V battery options, the other being the B121, which has a higher capacity.

This battery is easily constructed from a stack of 10 LR54 button cells held with heat-shrink tubing or some electricians tape wrapped around them.
NB: The addition of a "pip" on each end or "easing" the contacts in the equipment may be required for an excellent fit.
The Silver Oxide (SR54) cells will give a longer working time than the Alkaline cells but Alkaline cells will be suitable for use in low current or light use applications.
