Carbon Zinc. 30 volts.

The same shape and voltage as the A413 (where I "borrowed" the pic from), but physically larger. With some ingenuity and a couple of "shorting" spacers 2 × A413 could be used in parallel to give the higher current rating required.

You will need:

2 pieces of copper clad board (3 mm or so thick) 26 mm × 33 mm (or slightly smaller, as long as they connect with both of the A413s), some insulation tape, 2 short pieces of thin uninsulated wire, solder, soldering iron small drill.

To make:

Drill a small hole, to take the thin wire, in the centre of both boards, clean around the holes (both sides) and push one end of one of the pieces of wire through one of the boards and solder in place.

On the other side of the same board, coil the other end of the wire around the center so that it looks like the cnotact on the battery. Cover with solder to make a good "pip".

Repeat for the other board.

Get your 2 A413s and put them together, side by side (wider sides facing each other) and the same way round (+ to +, - to -) and wrap with a piece of tape to hold them together.

Affix one board to each end, the "pips" you've just made outwards, with rubber bands or some more tape.
