Don't confuse these with the AAA battery as these are twice the voltage in the same sized package.
Using of one of these in place of a 1.5 volt battery could damage your equipment.
Many years ago this size of 3v battery was used as an LT power source for early hearing aids that contained valves (tubes). The newer Lithium (high current types) could be used as replacements for the old zinc types but I would avoid the low current types in this situation.
