The differences between LR and SR cells:
LR cells are Alkaline Manganese based and have a lower energy density or capacity and are 1.5volts.
SR cells are Silver Oxide based, have a higher energy density or capacity and are 1.55volts.
See the Notes page for more info.
Do not confuse this with the PX32 as that is also called a "164".
Do not confuse with the MT621 which is the same size and voltage but is rechargeable.
Do not confuse with the ML621 which is the same size but twice the voltage and rechargeable.
Do not confuse with the NBL621 which is the same size but 2 volts and rechargeable.
Suggested replacement for the 164 mercury based battery that is no longer available. The physical dimensions are the same but the 164 was 1.35 volts.
Although .5 mm thinner than an LR66 I have used these in place of an LR66 with a small piece of folded paper as packing on the back (the watch had a side contact for positive).
